DDP means the freight you pay already covers import duties and taxes, so the parcel clears customs without the recipient paying anything. DDU is freight only: the recipient settles any import duties or VAT directly with customs. You choose the option at checkout.
Prices are per piece. Click a product to choose colour, size and quantity.
| DDP | DDU | |
|---|---|---|
| Import duties and taxes | Included in the freight you pay | Paid by the recipient to customs |
| Who pays at delivery | Nobody — the parcel is cleared | The recipient, if customs charges apply |
| Best for | Gifts sent directly to a recipient | Bulk imports where you can reclaim duty |
| What you see at checkout | The landed price | Freight only; duties are separate |
If the parcel is a gift going straight to someone who should not receive a customs bill, choose DDP. The price you pay at checkout is the landed price.
If you are importing in bulk for resale and can reclaim import duty, DDU often works out cheaper. You settle the duty through your own customs process.
At checkout we request live rates for your exact destination and parcel weight. Each available service shows its price and estimated transit time, and the duties option is shown next to it.
The rate you see is the rate you pay — there is no separate shipping quote step and no handling fee added afterwards.
Import rules depend on the destination country, the value and the buyer status. If you are a business importing for resale, tell us before ordering so we can confirm what information is available for your customs process.
For gifts, DDP is usually the least surprising option because the recipient is not asked for payment on delivery.
