A428 Paulownia Wood Watch Box

This is a solid Paulownia wood watch box built as a storage case and organiser, supplied in a single natural wood colour and one size: 10 x 10 x 10 cm. Because the box is wood rather than board or coated paper, the surface takes a mark differently from a printed carton. Two decoration methods are available, and each one behaves differently on the grain.

Decoration methods

• LS (laser engraving) — the mark is burned into the Paulownia surface, so it does not sit on top of the wood and will not flake or peel off.
• UV printing — cured ink laid onto the wood, which allows colour artwork rather than a single-tone engrave.

Both methods are applied to the lid area, and you can choose engraving for a restrained, tonal look or UV printing where the artwork needs colour.

Printable areas

The UV full-print area of 10 x 10 cm covers the full face of the box, which suits an all-over pattern, a photographic image or a full-colour brand block. The laser area of 7 x 10 cm is narrower, so it takes a wordmark, a monogram, a date or a short line of text. The UV partial-print area of 8 x 8 cm sits between the two: enough for a logo with a tagline, or a small illustration, without running to the edges.
